Gingle Kids

Arabic Language

At Gingle Kids, our Arabic Language Program supports children’s language development in an engaging, age-appropriate manner. In line with the UAE Education Vision 2033 and KHDA’s new Arabic Language Framework for Early Childhood, Arabic is taught as a second language within our English-medium setting and is integrated into daily routines through songs, greetings, storytelling, and play-based activities.

A qualified Arabic teacher with CACHE Level 3 and expertise in early childhood will deliver structured lessons daily for children over two. For children under two, Arabic will be introduced through songs, basic greetings, and comforting routines such as mealtimes and rest periods, fostering a sense of belonging. One Arabic teacher will support four classes through scheduled rotations.

Arabic is embedded across learning areas. Physical play incorporates action words, while literacy is enhanced through storytelling, flashcards, and circle time. Numeracy concepts like counting, comparing, and sequencing are introduced in Arabic. Learning environments feature Arabic labels, signs, and language corners with books and puzzles to create an immersive setting.

Parents are engaged through storytelling sessions, cultural celebrations, and training to support learning outcomes at home. Children’s progress is assessed in line with the EYFS Communication and Language framework, referencing the UAE Ministry of Education’s Arabic Language Framework to ensure consistency with national standards.

Ongoing assessment includes daily observations, portfolios, and termly reviews. Differentiated assessments track listening, speaking, and comprehension skills for Arabic and non-Arabic speakers. Regular updates ensure families are informed and children receive targeted support to develop confidence and cultural appreciation.
