At Gingle Kids, we aspire to embrace and promote awareness
of the UAE’s rich culture and heritage. Our teaching fosters universal values of
humanity while integrating the UAE’s history, traditions, and identity into daily
learning experiences.
Cultural education is delivered through storytelling, art
projects, and hands-on activities linked to Arabic customs. Children explore
traditional Emirati attire such as Kandoura, Ghutra, Naal, and Abaya, taste local
foods, and engage in crafts and music that reflect the region’s heritage. Arabic
language learning begins at age one, with children using basic greetings and
phrases, strengthening their cultural identity and community bond.
Each classroom includes a dedicated UAE culture corner
featuring Arabic books, historical materials, artifacts, and visual displays. These
highlight the local ruling families, national landmarks, flora, fauna, and
sustainability efforts, building awareness of the UAE’s environment and national
vision.
Cultural understanding is deepened through circle time
discussions, assemblies, and educational activities focused on UAE history,
geography, biodiversity, and identity. The UAE national anthem is part of our daily
routine, and children participate in sing-along that explore the meaning of the
national flag.
We celebrate cultural events such as Flag Day,
Commemoration Day, National Day, Ramadan, and Eid with themed activities and
performances instilling pride and unity. Field trips to museums, forts, and heritage
villages offer first-hand learning experiences about the UAE’s past and
sustainability goals. In the setting, we
include staff, parents, and community members and organize cultural events, guest
speakers, and workshops, fostering inclusion and celebrating UAE traditions
alongside global diversity.
