Age Group

At Gingle Kids Early Learning Centre, we recognize that every stage of early childhood is unique and filled with exciting milestones. That’s why our programs are thoughtfully tailored to support each age group—fostering curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in a nurturing environment. From first steps to school readiness, our caring team guides children through every stage of development with age-appropriate activities, play-based learning, and the trusted EYFS framework.

Toddlers (1–2 Years)

(The child should be 1 year old by 31st of August)
Our Toddlers are in a wonderful stage of discovery, where every moment is filled with curiosity and wonder. At this age, children are learning to move more independently, communicate basic needs, and interact with others in simple ways. Through play-based learning in a warm and nurturing environment, we help our explorers build a strong foundation for their physical, social, and emotional development.

Milestones your child will be supported to achieve:

  • Walk with growing confidence and coordination
  • Use simple words or gestures to express needs
  • Respond to familiar words and simple instructions
  • Show interest in other children and begin parallel play
  • Begin to feed themselves with assistance
  • Explore objects by shaking, banging, dropping, or mouthing
  • Develop awareness of routines and transitions

Our caring teachers gently guide and support each child’s unique journey—helping them feel safe, valued, and ready to take their next little steps.

Preschool (2–3 Years)

(The child should be 2 year old by 31st of August)
Our Preschoolers are busy little learners who love to ask questions, test ideas, and explore the world around them with growing confidence. At this stage, children are becoming more social, expressive, and independent. We create a playful and enriching environment where curiosity is encouraged, language blossoms, and essential skills begin to take shape through hands-on learning, music, movement, and imaginative play.

Milestones your child will be supported to achieve:

  • Use two- to three-word phrases to express thoughts and needs
  • Follow simple two-step directions
  • Engage in pretend play and take turns with peers
  • Begin to sort objects by shape or Color
  • Show growing independence in dressing and self-care
  • Run, jump, and climb with more control and balance
  • Start to recognize and name familiar people, objects, and pictures

With patient guidance and purposeful play, we help each child develop confidence, creativity, and a love for learning that sets the stage for future success.

FS1 (3–4 Years)

(The child should be 3 year old by 31st of August)
Our FS1 learners are curious, imaginative, and eager to understand how things work. At this stage, children are developing important early skills in language, problem-solving, and social interaction. Through engaging activities, stories, creative play, and early literacy and numeracy experiences, we nurture their growing minds and help them make meaningful connections with the world around them.

Milestones your child will be supported to achieve:

  • Communicate in full sentences and express ideas clearly
  • Ask questions and show curiosity about the world
  • Count objects and begin to recognize numbers
  • Identify some shapes, colors, and beginning letter sounds
  • Play cooperatively, share, and take turns with peers
  • Show control in gross motor activities like running and jumping
  • Use tools like crayons and scissors with improved coordination

Our FS1 program encourages independence, confidence, and joyful learning—laying a strong foundation for their transition to FS2 and beyond

FS2 (4–5 Years)

(The child should be 4 year old by 31st of August)
Our kids are confident, imaginative, and full of ideas. In FS2, children build on their early learning foundations with a stronger focus on early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. They explore, question, and express themselves creatively through stories, art, role play, and hands-on learning experiences. With guidance and encouragement, they gain the readiness and resilience needed for their next big step—primary school.

Milestones your child will be supported to achieve:

  • Recognize and write letters and simple words
  • Blend sounds to read CVC words
  • Count, order, and compare numbers confidently
  • Understand patterns, shapes, and basic measurement
  • Solve problems through trial, discussion, and reasoning
  • Participate in group activities and follow classroom routines
  • Express creativity through art, music, and storytelling

With each day full of discovery and creation, FS2 learners grow into confident, capable children—ready to take on the world with joy and imagination.
